What a recurring janitorial program covers
A janitorial program is the scheduled cleaning that keeps a building ready for the next business day. We empty trash and recycling, vacuum carpet, sweep and mop hard floors, clean and restock restrooms, wipe break rooms and kitchenettes, and disinfect door handles, light switches, elevator buttons and other high-touch points.
Each building gets a written task list by area and by frequency. Daily tasks, weekly tasks and monthly tasks are listed separately, so your facility manager and our crew work from the same document.
Scheduling around your building
Most clients choose evening or overnight service so cleaning never interrupts staff or tenants. Buildings with heavier daytime traffic add a day porter. We can also work around shift changes, alarm schedules and badge access rules.
Service runs one to seven nights a week. The walkthrough sets the starting frequency, and the plan changes when your occupancy changes.
Who does the work and how it is checked
Our cleaners are our own employees, never subcontractors. Every person on the crew is insured and background-checked before they enter your building.
Field supervisors inspect every building on a set schedule and log the results. Your account contact reviews those logs with you, and any missed item is corrected on the next visit.
What to send for a quote
Tell us the address, approximate square footage, number of restrooms, the days and hours cleaning can happen, and anything that frustrates you about the current service. We will schedule a walkthrough, confirm the scope and send a written bid.
Frequently asked questions
Who supplies cleaning products and paper goods?
Ahlers supplies the cleaning chemicals and equipment. Paper products, soap and liners can be supplied by us and billed, or you can keep buying them yourself. We say which option is in the bid.
Can we start with a few nights a week and increase later?
Yes. Many clients start at two or three nights a week and add nights as occupancy grows. The schedule is adjusted with written notice, not a new contract.
What happens if an area is missed?
Report it to your account contact. The item is logged, corrected on the next scheduled visit or sooner, and reviewed at the next supervisor inspection.
